I should probably be sleeping right now, but I can't so I thought I would write a little bit.
The best day of my life so far. First of all Sydney is such a miracle to begin with and then the day she was born couldn't have been more perfect. God blessed us with her pregnancy and we have been trusting him for the whole time. I have been doing my best to take my nutrition seriously so that she had the best possible start to her
life. Now she lays beside me sleeping like an angel.
If you know me well at all you know I love the sunshine, fresh air and natural light. As we went through the process of labor and birth the dawn of Sunday, November 16th was approaching. By the time I got in the water for the final stages of Sydney's birth the sun was shining in the window. Of course I didn't notice the beautiful day until she was in my arms, but as I was sitting in the tub holding her in my arms I was grateful for safety God had provided for both of us. Once I was dried off and in bed I was able to look out the window and enjoy the beautiful day as well. God not only blessed us in every way possible he also brought Sydney into this world on a Sunday morning.
After she was born and in my arms, the midwives had finished making sure the cord was clamped and cut, the head midwife was rubbing Sydney's back and as she did she whispered a little pray that went something like this..."Jesus bring your spirit into Sydney!" What a start!
I must say I feel a little spoiled to think that God cared enough to take me to the Baby Place to deliver His gift to the world and us.

That is such a precious picture of you and Sydney.
Such a beautiful story Beth. I prayed that you would have easy labor after all the work it took to get to this point, and you have been blessed. She's really cute! Can't wait to see more pics of her!
