I can't believe that I am actually going to be holding my daughter in approximately 3 weeks. I thought I was excited before, but I'm am just doing my best to fill time and get everything ready.
Recently God gave me a little challenge in that I had 1 1/2 weeks to prepare to teach a one day training for a program that I knew very little or nothing about. Yesterday I taught about 23 High School Juniors/Seniors how to teach 8th graders the value of saving sex till they are "older". I wanted to say until marriage, but you know politics... Anyways, it went really well. It reminds me how much I enjoy kids.

3 Weeks and Counting

36 Week Get away!
On Saturday, we went for a short 4 wheeler ride with my cousin. No worries, we stayed close to the truck and on really good trails. Sydney loved it and her daddy was a excellent driver.
Chip's adventurous side made him need to climb down the cliff and out to the very edge of the cliff. I just have to remember that he wants to see Sydney as bad as I do so he isn't going to do anything crazy, even if it seems that way sometimes. :)

Birthing Class 3-6
Okay, Okay! I got a little behind on the updates. :) I have officially been set straight. I guess I didn't really realize that anyone was reading my blog, but I guess I found out differently.
The update...
Well since I last talked with you we have been to 4 more birthing classes. We have been so blessed to go through this class. It has been so informative and very comforting to know a little more what to expect in the coming weeks. Last week we did mock labor and it was quite interesting. The way that Kyndal presented it, made it really comfortable. We all had a few laughs, but I think it was because we are all a little nervous for this whole process.
I had a real lengthy conversation with the mid-wife on how we are going to handle my back issues if they arise in labor. We talked about different coping positions and options that we will have if the pain gets really bad. The good thing is that I am doing really awesome. I feel great and Sydney is growing good.
Here are a couple pictures that we took last night. It was fun.
