There isn't anything too exciting to talk about. I do think that I am starting to get a little bit of a belly, but just enough to make me look like I have a really bad case of gas. :) I tried to start registering the other day and realized that I had really no clue on where to start. I decided I would wait until either my husband or a friend could go with me. It is so much more fun to do with someone.

1 month at a time
Well, we had our second baby appointment yesterday. It was awesome. I gained 1 lb. and everything looks great. It was pretty cool when we got to hear the heart beat. I didn't realize how clear it would actually be, but there was no denying that it was the heart. They told us it was going about 152 bpm so they said it would come out running. :) JK! Every little mile stone makes it feel a little more real. They said that I could start to feel movement in the next couple of weeks. That will be pretty cool.

The Word is Out...The Advice Begins
Well it has been a great week. As I said before we starting spreading the word. It has been fun to think back on all the reactions from people that love us. Screaming, crying, laughing and just pure relief were the initial responses which was followed by "don't do this" and "do this!". I haven't minded it a minute. It has been fun to see how much people care and how they want this pregnancy to be successful. I was talking to someone today that told me not to ride in a car for long periods of time because it would cause a miscarriage. There is all kinds of knowledge being imparted to us. Just pray we have wisdom to know which part to listen to. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

First Time Adventures
Well this weekend was filled with a lot of first for the baby. We played in an alumni softball game on Saturday in Emmett where we had a blast. I can't say that I didn't play a little more tentative that I would normally, but we had fun. (we won as well) Of course we ended the outing with a stop by Roe Ann's Drive and had the traditional flurry. :)
Sunday afternoon we decided we needed to soak in as many rays as possible so we, including daddy, went on a 4-wheeler ride out near Hemingway butte. We rode around for a few hours and just enjoyed nature. There were a few wild flowers blooming and we got to see 2 jack rabbits. It was pretty fun.
Needless to say, I'm really sore today. I haven't played softball in 1 1/2 years so those muscle are continuing to let me know that I should have gone a little easier on them.
Today I am thanking God for my health and for the blessing of a child. God is in control of this whole little miracle inside me and it is fun just to be on part of the plan.
