Sydney decided to model her new dress from her family in France. She is now 10 1/2 weeks old and weighs about 10 1/2 lbs.

Real Smiles!

Yes, like any parent we have enjoyed Sydney's "smiles" for a while now. Recently, it has been fun to see her actually respond with a smile and a coo while mom and dad are acting like fools.

These pictures were actually taken yesterday and today so you all should feel really up to date.

Skiing with Daddy!

Hi everyone, If you don't know Beth and I love to ski and we are anxiously waiting for the first time we can put Sydney on skis. This last week we have been in McCall and we did ski a few day's. Because we are the parents now we took the liberty to give Sydney her first ride down a ski hill. Don't worry I was skiing and holding Sydney and we were on the Bunny Hill, which is pretty much just a flat area for people to learn. As long as I was actually moving she loved it but as soon as I would stop she would start to complain. I am taking this as a good sign that she wants her own skis in about three years. We just thought it would make good memories for the family to give her her first ski lesson at six weeks old, hopefully none of you think we are crazy parents, it was a blast.
